Ive learned a lot from this forum and recently started to build a sub box for my 2015 F150. Ive looked all around and also found many pre-fab boxes online that were pretty good. The first sub I went with was a JL audio micro sub 8. It was alright, but was not my style of bass (meaning I wanted more) so I went with building my own. Now this was not my first box Ive built. I started back when I was 16 building boxes here and there for friends. Im no pro, but I think I have it sorted out a little. Check it out and tell me what ya think. The box is 3/4 mdf board, some bracing and also ported. Two Memphis MoJo 8 subs powered by a 1200-1400 (cant remeber) amp. 0 gauge power wire. Any questions on how I got this style or finished product, just leave a comment. Thanks. Both subs are dual 4 ohm wired down to 1 ohm
Thanks. And it sound perfect. It can get overly bass(y) or blend right in to the factory Sony system. The doors and all are tuned to have almost no bass since these two 8s can be punchy and deliver pretty good low end. Not nothing crazy, but good
Looks mint. Those are very beefy 8's! I approve as a fellow bass junkie.
Haha. Thanks. I havent seen many, of any, reviews on these 8s online or YouTube. I know this is a main stream sub, but it damn near sounds similar or the same as the sundown 8s with the same magnet and wattage ratings. Very impressed.

They get good reviews and are a staple on the spl scene. I like them, B2's, soundqubed skar, my sundowns...all are very stout subs. All power hungry to some degree but can really move air.
How did you get those subs to fit? Those magnets are massive! I found a similar aftermarket enclosure that houses 4 eight inch subs. I have four 8" subs that are ⅔'s the size of those & I'm not sure they will fit that enclosure.
Your really impressive construct must have overcome that physical limitation but I can't see it. In photo-ville it's depth looks too shallow to allow those bass cannons to fit so I ask, "how the hell did you shoehorn those anvils into that space?" :-)

the depth isn't the issue .. its an underseat sub .. usually its the height that's the issue .. i have 2 10 inch subs front firing under my rear seat mounting depth is 7.68 inches

Thanks. The depth was sort of alright. The front height of the box is 9. I got this measurement by letting the seat rest at a factory height. The depth was the tricky part. As you can see from the top of the box, I had to make an opening due to the 3/4 wood contacting the magnet! But it was very small (area of contact). Thats why you see a long raised piece on top of the subs. I just made the top piece that size strictly for cosmetics!
Now, what I also done was take 1/4 mdf and made a faceplate for both subs to extend it out 1/4 inch as well as round over the edges to give it some character. The box eventually came out to be over 2 cu ft or just right at it and ported. Sounds badaxx.
To answer your final question, I looked at that box that houses 4 8s. Idk if youd be impressed. Idk what size subs they would allow. And it just has no character! Lol. I was so close to buying it, but with the same money, time and research, I got this box that people wanted to charge soooo much for. And I keep my seats at stick height!
