Default custom seat brackets

hey guys, so I am trying to fit seats from a 2014 F150 into my 2015 F150. Ive had multiple back surgeries and the older style seat is much better for my back.

I just purchased a like new driver seat on eBay and am having it delivered next week.

I was planning on having a local guy fabricate some brackets to install the seat, but figured I would ask here if anyone knows an easier way.

Not sure if they make adapters or if anyone has an easier idea, I could potentially do myself to save some coin.

Any ideas would be great

Thanks

I don't guess there is a chance they would just bolt in? I assume you already researched it.

If they don't fit, you'll surely have to get a creative person to fabricate something. Or, by the slimmest chance....maybe the seat can be attached to your 2015 seat brackets at the slider mechanism.

yeah unfortunately they won't just bolt right in.

I like your idea about attaching it at the slider mechanism but when I looked there is a screw like mechanism for the power seat that sits in the slider. Not sure how to disassemble that.

I doubt anyone makes an adapter, but fabbing up brackets would be easy. I put Chrysler 300M seats in my 2nd gen cummins before, was pretty easy, but I TIG weld for a living.

maybe by some miracle, the seats themselves share similar bolt patterns onto the frames, and you can simply swap the 2015 seat tracks onto the 2014 seats
