I own stocks in Ford as well and have a Lariat. I don't consider myself a sucker, just have an income that allows me to purchase a higher trim model.

If you were ford would you offer rebate's on limiteds, platinums, or lariates?
Well, actually Ford does.

In Post 19, I show how they gave me $2250 in rebates on a special order Platinum I picked up March 4.

And $1,000 of it came from 2 rebates I was not even aware of, the dealer found them.

I requested a F-150 brochure on the Ford website, and about 2 weeks later a brochure showed up in my mail.

It offered A $750 Private Cash Offer, and it stated that it was in addition to any other available offers.

I also had that $750 Auto Show offer, but you could only use one or the other.

If I had not gone to the Auto Show, I still would have been able to use the Brochure offer.

Search Private Cash Offers in this thread for hints on how to put in multiple requests for it.

There are other posts.
Once you get in Ford's database, they MAY extend you a private cash offer. Multiple requests for brochures simply wastes their marketing dollars and raises future costs...

Don't be so literal. I didn't mean any rebates! So initially ford was offering 1250 in rebates and then your dealer found another 1000. That is awsome! So ford gave you 2250 off of a 65000 pickup. XLT"S routinely get 5k in rebates and cost between 40-50k but its easy to get a total of 10k off of an xlt. Does anybody know the rebate for a limited? I bet its a whole 500bucks. I applaud ford for charging as much as they can for the higher levels. After 402a's, its only bragging rights about how bad I got swindled, but not rebates
