Default Cruise control doesn't work.

I tried using search and every result is about adaptive cruise control which I don't have, or questions after mods have been done that I didn't do. My cruise control doesn't work at all. No lights on the dash, buttons do nothing. The only mod I've done that I think could have any effect are my headlights, and adjusts the speedo with a hypertech when I put my 33's on. I only have just over 3,000 miles on the truck. If I take it in to get the issue looked at under warranty, are they going claim the warranty is void because of either of those?

Do your brake lights light up? A common problem is a bad brake switch. Seems premature though.
The lights could be an issue, interrupting the system.

You should just take it in and ask if they can inspect and repair under warranty.
The only person who can accurately that answer is the person who's done the same things as you and visited the same service department.

Have you disconnected the battery for a reset?
Do other steering wheel buttons work? Not sure what is included in an XLT, but volume/call/radio station change buttons? This could point to a clock spring.

I'm sure the headlights are not an easy replacement, but if you are worried about warranty -swap back to stock to see if the problem goes away. I'd start with the battery disconnect and/or checking to ensure your brake lights work.

The brake lights do work, and all the other buttons and on the steering wheel work. I’ll try a battery reset. Other than that I’ll take my chances with warranty. If it’s voided, honestly, every warranty I’ve had ran out (time rather than miles) before I needed it, with the exception of replacing a speaker once.

My '18 has intermittent cruise control. Sometimes the buttons do nothing. I watched a few youtube vids and everything points to the clock spring. Seems like a fairly simple fix. There's a few part numbers for it though. I haven't figured out what the difference is so Im unsure of which to buy. Ford's online manual says both will work for my year/model.

I forgot to update, but the issue turned out to be a loose connection on an ABS sensor. Probably from when I installed my leveling kit. Dealership didn't even charge me.
