Default Crosswind

Here in the great wide open plains we get a lot of wind. A side or cross wind really moves this truck around. Don't remember this on the old trucks. Any thoughts. There was a post way back that related to disconnecting the shutters.

Up here in prairie land we get heavy crosswinds too... we call 20mph ones a 'light breeze' lol. But tbh I haven't noticed the truck being pushed around any more than my 99. Mine is a scab 4x4 with the 6.5ft bed, not sure if it makes a difference.

Went thru Desert Hot Springs last week, home to one of the first and largest wind power farms in the country. 80 mph into a 45 mph headwind drains the gas alot, but the truck seemed very stable, even in the x-wind areas. Try it in a VW Camper!
