So temps here dropped to 14F last night and it snowed and sleeted a little bit. Woke up and went to the gym today, and when I put it in reverse to back into my parking space, the backup sensors functioned properly, but it gave a continual beep, and the truck icon on my screen was surrounded by red. I’m thinking this is maybe the cross traffic warning, but there was no cross traffic anywhere near me. Mine is equipped with the BLIS.

I’m guessing it’s due to the cold or possibly some snow on the sensors, but I can’t see anything out of place when I look at them. Anyone else have this issue in the cold/snow?

 

Mine have done goofy things like that since new. Let it thaw and dry. It seems after I sprayed wd40 and plugged / unplugged connections, it has been much better.
