Default Crack windshield ALREADY 😡

Ave had my 2015 for 2 weeks and about 700 miles. A rock got me on the freeway this morning and is already ~18" long now. Talk about irritating!

I know that feeling, just under 10,000 miles and I've already had to have the windshield replaced.

Sorry about that. I may hold the record for shortest ownership without a crack. I got less than 1/2 a mile from the dealership when a rock nailed my windshield.

In Texas, you might as well hit your new truck windshield at the dealership with a small ball peen hammer just to save you aggravation of your first crack in the windshield.

Be glad you don't own a Jeep Wrangler. Many of the guys were getting new windshields almost as often as filling their gas tanks!

Make sure you get the OEM windshield replacement. I've read that it is much quieter than the aftermarket ones.

Yeah, I know it sounds crazy, but if you look at the bottom of the driver's side windshield, the trade name of the windshield is listed. Make sure that's what you get if you get a new one. Good Luck!
