Default Couple of Issues with Engine 5.0V8

Hello everyone, hope all is well. I have a couple of issues visually that I'm wanting to address. There are no specific performance issues, or cels, etc. I have about 9k miles left on my Fidelity Platinum Warranty and am wondering if i could get these items fixed under the warranty. They may be minor, but wanted to check with the experts

1. On either side of the front of the engine on the valve covers, there are 2 "plugs" circled" that look like they are leaking oil. Pictures attached. Squiggly lines indicate where the oil residue is reaching. What are these called and should i be concerned. I have no issues with oil loss or anything. I change mine every 5k with full synthetic.

The other issue I have is minor coolant loss. I'm not knowledgeable about the cooling systems on these vehicles to know if possibly there is a point where the overflow reservoir level stabilizes. On the below picture, the upperline is where I fill to and after a few days, it always drops to the lower line. From there it stabilizes. If I had a chronic loss of coolant into the crankcase, I feel it would drop to zero volume. So where am i leaking coolant and why does it stop after it drops below the minimum line.

2015. 4x4. SuperCrew. 91K miles. Immaculately serviced. Water pump has been replaced before, no visual leaking on the ground.

I’d have to check to see if my 2018 5.0 has any oily leaks like that but since you have a warranty, I would definitely get that checked. Good luck.

That coolant consumption does sound excessive. You might even send an oil sample in to Blackstone Laboratories if you have any concerns about it getting into your oil. I know my coolant drops only about a 1/2 of a quart about every 10,000 miles or so.

Those sensors are the VCT sensors/solenoids or Variable Camshaft Timing. It's fairly common for them to "sweat" a bit and have debris build up in the pockets.
