Finally ordered a new F150 lariat 502a 6.5 bed sport package crew cab how long does it normally take me for my order shows up on cotus

 

I'm in the same boat. Keep in mind COTUS is always finicky. My dealer told me a VIN isn't assigned for about 10 days and COTUS usually likes to look up your vehicle by VIN when it is actually working. I tried enting my name, order number, and dealer code - sure enough I got a message saying my vehicle couldn't be found. I'll try again once I get a VIN from my dealer.

 

I used Ford service on Facebook and got more news from there then my dealer. At the beginning anyways. Just need dealer code and order number

 

My dealer had a vin after like 5-6 days, I was able to see it at that time in cotus. Sometimes you have to try three or four times with cotus for it to show up, its still like that. My dealer said they modified a stocking order to make my truck so not sure how that effects the time line to get a vin.
