Yes it cleans up the flow so it will help heating and cooling.

Default Kit Available in Canada

Hi All,

I have one of Tim's (SeatGuru) kits available in Canada. Can ship. I am in Ontario. Ford bought my truck back before I had a chance to install. Complete as received from him.

PM if interested.

I did search this thread and did not come out with a clear answer. I have a 2017 Explorer as well as a 2016 F150. Will the same kit work on both? If so is there a discount fr ordering two kits?

Just checking Thanks
Mike

I'm in a 2018 rental in Nevada with the new style ventilated seats (no TED). They seriously suck. They're worse than pre TSB 2015 F150 cooled seats. It makes more noise and that's it. There is no cooling at all. What little actual ventilation there is, seems to be very poor / insignificant. If I bought a 2018 F150 I'd sure want to find 2015 to 2017 cooled seats or retrofit in a TED.

One more thing 2017 F150's are better at than 2018's.

That’s odd. Perhaps you got one that had some sort of malfunction. Everyone that has a 2018 says that the seats are miles better than prior model.

My guess is if the interior cabin is already heat soaked, the ventilated seats will not feel that cool until the interior has cooled down.

It is my understanding that they removed the cooling function and it now just blows air that it sucks from under the seat.
