Today, 98° outside, I get in the truck and hit the cooled seats (3 bars). Bottom starts cooling, but back starts to feel warmer. Almost as if the back was heating. It didn't start cooling down until I turned off the cooled seats. Weird!

Exactly what I'm experiencing.

I pulled the back of my seat off and my vents were connected correctly. Looks like Ford has a design issue here.

Parts are on back order, wonder if it will have a different part number when available.

there is a plastic channel that goes across the bottom horizontally starting at either edge you can get it to unhook
Do we unhook the elastic bands from the channel, or unhook the channel itself from the seat frame?

Default Same problem

When I turn on the cooled seats to 3-bars the bottom cools OK not great and the back seems like it heats up. Not working like it should for sure. I guess I will take it to the dealer to check it out.

I thought I noticed the same thing. Keep us posted on what the fix for this issue turns out to be. I may take mine to the dealer when a fix is discovered.

Went golfing on Sunday, it was hot. On the way home I wanted to show off the sweet cooled seat feature... turns out, there was little cooling action going on.

My seat bottom was getting slightly cold (3 bars) but the seat back was hot, my back was sticking to it. My friend asked if the seat cooling was on and thats when it hit me. These things worked amazingly well right out of the box, but now when I need them (and wanted to show off a lil) they just weren't working well at all.

Annoyance level is high with this as it is now warm out. I likely will only get to use this feature for 3 months a year.
