Cooling Seats issue and TSB feedback

Why can't this be easy?
Hi Folks. I've been lurking on this thread for a long time now and just wanted to share my experience. Dropped my truck off to the local dealer (not my purchasing dealer...) yesterday, gave them a printed copy of the TSB, and fully explained the situation. Of course they had never heard of it. Got a call today that they completed their diagnostics and that the seats are cooling as designed; therefore, there is no warranty work to be done. When I explained that I doubt they would be able to see the extent of the problem just turning them on in the garage with the seat unzipped, he said the problem is that they can't return the replaced items to Ford if they are still in working order.
I then explained that this is not a case where there will be faulty parts to return... this is a case of a redesign of an initial faulty design. The service manager seemed to understand what I was arguing, but said they would have to call Ford to get more guidance.
Here's hoping that conversation goes well.
P.S. Many thanks to all those involved in raising this concern and helping with the solution!

taking mine to dealer today to get parts ordered. Do they plug into you truck for this by any chance? Don't think so but just wondering if I need to return my truck tune to stock first?

I am curious out of those who got their cooled seat fixed, how much air flow do you notice out of the seat back?
I had mine fixed earlier this week. I am happy the back is cooling better than before, but I guess I had imagined the air flow to match that of the seat bottom. My seat back gets a lot hotter than the seat bottom when it sits outside while at work, etc.
Should I push the issue or is this the best I we can hope for?

Same results here. Picked up Wed after getting fixed (first one for my dealership) and yes the bottoms are cooling better, and yes there is some cooling in the back but there is not any noticeable air flow. It seems that with the previous model (12 F-150) there was air flow. My past experiences with Toyota and Cadillac is what I had expected - air flow. It seems this model, the seats cool but I would not say they get cold. The truck is advanced but I think Ford short changed this option. Not sure if there is any real hope for those of us who have a 15, maybe 16 or 17 will have a better design.
So The seats do work better on the 13 and 14 models? I am hard looking at a few brand new 2014 F150's to trade this thing in for. Also looking at other options also.

My 13 has minimal out the seat now and non to very low in lumbar on back. Non throughout the full upper back portion as Ford says there should be.

The other day I took my truck in with the case number and a printed TSB on the seat cooling issue. After two days of diagnostic they told me parts were ordered to fix both my issues.
Somewhere on this forum I read where others had the wrinkling seat issue, seems like a few others had more cushion added to tighten the seat bottoms. Not sure if it's the same material or a different type, we shall see if it works.
Here was one thread and this is where I received a message on this board: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/leath...-loose-310587/

I complained about my seat bottoms on this forum a while ago, I probably had about 2k miles on it at the time. I was contacted by a person on this forum that escalated it up the ladder. I then received a phone call from a Ford employee that gave me a case number.

These 2 issues are prime examples as to why no single complaint should ever be down played!
Glad you will be getting it sorted.
