So I actually got a call from the customer service rep today. They acknowledged an issue with the seat and that they are working with my dealer on a fix and they will get back to me by end of day Tuesday. I told the rep the back of the seats get well over 100 degrees and she agreed this isn't normal. It appears things might be moving forward. It could have to do with all the new complaints in nhtsa website haha

Post on twitter to the CEO of Ford. Not the brand, but the CEO. That's how the seat armrest got fixed.....I'd do it, but I don't have twitter! Everyone that's been filing complaints, needs to also post this to him!

My apologies. It was Mike Levine @mrlevine

He is the communications manager for trucks at Ford. Here is the link talking about it.....he responded quickly and ended up getting a answer from him.

Post #144 is where it begins.

Get to tweeting him! See if he can help!

Nope, mine have only been on two or three times, no dirty filter.

Thanks

Got my return phone call from the regional Ford rep today...apparently the fix is in the works but no ETA of when it will go out to the dealers.
