Cooling Seats issue and TSB feedback

If the back didn't get so damn hot while the seat "coolers" were on, I don't think it would be such a large issue....but I can't even use the damn things during the summer!
The tech in this truck is one of the main reasons I bought it.
I tried to have this issue escalated, but it's like Ford doesn't believe their customers....which in it self is quite disappointing. Damn shame.
If your coolers are not working properly, and if you want this issue addressed, everyone needs to take their truck in....regardless if some idiot deems it normal use....we need to get it documented....and if enough of us do this, we should get a fix.

BTW, picking mine up in less than 2 hours.
I asked (and stated) "If I get there, and I feel hot air coming out of the back top perforated section, I'm going to be very upset with you guys....what are you going to do then after wasting my time?" My service writer said that if I feel hot air, that he would have the same tech re-diagnose them.
Should be a good evening at the ol dealership boys, stay tuned.

Anyone else get a quiet circuit snap/pop whenever they turn on the cooled seats? I'm wondering if this is a case of bad fuses? I'll try to dig up info on the circuit but does anyone know off the top of their head if the cooling fans are on a separate fused circuit from the rest of the seat functions? I know the seat heater and the seat motors are on separate circuits.

The fix would be a duct to move the warm air from the seat cavity. If Ford does not come up with a fix I'll bet some after market company will. It is a poor design or when it was ready to be manufactured some idiot decided to remove the duct to save a few dollars.......................................

Ford is trying to relinquish any responsibly for failed engineering is what it sounds like. Way to be a stand up company Ford. You probably won't be getting me on my next truck purchase. i just came form owning GM products primarily, but it seems I may be going back.

I've been using my cooled seats all week to see. The lower lumbar area feels a little cool, but not the full lower back portion of the seat. Reading all the responses, I'll wait to take my truck in since it sounds like dealerships aren't really doing anything about it.

The issue is that Ford isn't doing anything about it. The dealers are left to fly blind as they deal with the upset customers.
Ford's lack of response, in the form of a TSB or full recall, is less than confidence inspiring, and shows that they have more issues than they are leading on about.

Got my truck from Palm Springs Ford. They insisted the massaging seats had mechanical rollers in the seat bottom. Asked them to show them to me because even the parts diagram doesn't show a mechanical roller. They took a look, took it back into their shop and 5 minutes came back out and the service manager apologized and said they were wrong. It doesn't have mechanical rollers. They were able to deflate the one cushion that was stuck inflated, but told me not to use the feature because it would probably get stuck inflated again. Driving 1400 miles tomorrow so I'm not touching the massaging seats till I'm home and can get them fixed.
As far as the cooling feature of the seats (sorry to kinda hijack the thread about the massaging feature) they said they were able to measure a temperature drop on the seat bottom and seat back. I asked if they sat in the seat for 5 minutes or so, so they can actually feel the seat back warm up, but he said they did not.
I didn't want to spend anymore time at the dealer so I gave up and will take it into the dealer once I get home since it'll need its 5,000 mile service anyway.
