Coolant Drain???

Default Coolant Drain???

Is there an actual way to drain the old coolant from my 3.5 NA engine, a machine , perhaps, or tilt the truck on its nose? LOL, Just lots of hoses in front of engine, Thanks for any input, (Old and Tired) Rick I found many answers in the Maintenance section, Thanks anyway, Please Ignore this ?

There is a red drain **** on the bottom left corner of the radiator.

I am not experienced with the 3.5NA, but on the 3.5TT, this only drains 4 out of 13 quarts. So far from a full drain.

I don't recall if there is a drain plug in the block, but there are freeze plugs. That would evacuate additional coolant but still not a full drain. Removing a freeze plug would allow old or new coolant to drawing, not special way to only drain old coolant.

The 3.5L NA engine does have block drain plugs. One on each side of the block. Here is the RH plug.
