Default Console safe options

Just got a new 2018 F150 with the three section front seat, lift open console/fold down arm rest. What options do I have for a locking safe in the console?

Hi Malpaso, welcome to the forum. I was going to point you to a couple of recent threads until I realized you have the other type of console. Still, I'm almost sure there was a thread that showed a more flat 'safe' or lockbox option, but I can't seem to find it. I'll keep looking, sorry. I would have deleted this post, but I can't

That's fine, one of the threads sent me here in a roundabout way - https://www.consolevault.com/Ford-F1...019_p_121.html

which I believe will work, so thank you! I'm also looking for other options.

I used Console Vault in my 2013 XLT with non-flow through console and I loved it. Easy to install with the instructions, as I recall. Fit and function was spot on. Snug fit, as you would expect. The reason I got it was because my 2013 XLT (at least mine) had no lock on the glove box. While I realize that a locked glove box can be compromised, all I wanted was something to provide a deterrent. I wrote Ford to tell them that not having a lock on a $45,000 MSRP truck is past ridiculous and completely unacceptable. I guess others complained as well, or Ford realized it was silly to not have such a thing on a vehicle. Now my current truck has a keyed locking console and glove box. Thanks Ford!
