Has anyone purchased a console cover from eBay?

I bought a console and the lid has some paint splatter. Tried cleaning it up but causing some issues with fading.

Wanted to ask before I bought one.

 

This can be closed. I purchased some dupicolor vinyl prep and paint. Seems to have worked good. Now we will see how long it lasts.

Might want to post a pic or exact product used to help the next guy that might have an issue.

 

Going to as soon as it's dry and reinstalled and I can get it into the sun.

It seems like itll do the job, my truck should be delivered any day now so i havent installed yet. Im also going to find some 1/8" memory foam or similar to put underneath to give it a soft touch.

 

Saw that one but the reviews were not good. Lots of complaints about fit.

 

So I don't have a before but there was paint on it and then I used some acetone to remove it which caused fading.

Cleaned with the wax and grease remover and did a few light coats of the paint.

Let that sit for an hour then did a couple more light coats.
