Default Connecting with SYNC

Question on SYNC. I'm looking at an XLT with SYNC, NOT SYNC 3. This has the smaller screen (4.3"?). It does not come with Sirius XM as configured. I see I can connect with Applink as it is included so I should be able to use the Android apps on my phone. Would I be able to stream Sirius through my phone?

You should be able to. If the truck will connect to your phone through bluetooth, you should be able to play any audio through the truck system that is streamed on the phone. Any music app, youtube audio, video game audio, etc.

You'll be able to stream anything bluetooth. I think the SiriusXM app is Applink compatible, but not many apps are in my opinion. If it's compatible, you'll have more control of the app from your screen in the truck than a non-Applink app.
