Default Condensation on inside of windshield

2016 Lariat with the Pano roof that has been trouble free for 35,900 miles. The truck has never been in for any issues other than two recall notices from Ford. I was on vacation last week, and the truck sat in the driveway for a week. Came home late in the evening and noticed condensation inside the truck when I was unloading the wife's Taurus SHO which we took on the trip. Didn't think much of it, knowing we had some rain while I was away. Next morning I took the truck to the gym and noticed the condensation was there, so I ran the defroster and it cleared up in a few minutes. This morning I come out to go to work, and the condensation has returned. So much so, that it is now so heavy that it is running down the inside of the windshield when the defroster is turned on.

I am well aware of the issues with the Pano, roof, and to date I have not had a problem. When I got to the office I opened and closed the Pano roof, to make sure it is seated properly. I felt around the area of the drain area of the roof, and it is not holding standing water. However, the wind screen is damp. However, I have no wetness in the headliner, or on the floor/carpets, so if there is water getting in, it is not at a heavy rate.

I have made an appointment with the dealer this morning, to go on record with a possible problem before the warranty runs out. Anyone else had this issue? Searches show issues with drain tubes (which I will check) and more prominent leaks from rivets and warped glass. Thoughts before I visit the dealer?

Condensation on the inside of your windshield indicates there's water in the cab somewhere. Better check again.

Or you've been doing something in the back seat that you don't want to get caught doing. LOL

Could be leaking cab vents behind the rear seats.

Update: We got a lot of rain here on New Year's Eve. Checked truck first thing in the AM, and the right Weather Tech mat was loaded with water. Also, the underside of the glove box had water droplets hanging from the edge. Obviously, it is leaking on the passenger side.

It really bugged me that after three years without a single drop of water in the cab, that the leak has occurred. I was reviewing all the threads on here regarding drain tube issues and looking at all the "how to" threads on how to fix. Then it dawned on me!

Just before I went away, I had the truck at the dealer for two recalls. The truck is now in the shop, so I don't have access to the paperwork, but I believe the recalls were for the seat belt issue (potential fire hazard) and seat bolt issue. Would that work performed by the dealer possibly caused the drain tube to come loose? It is the only variable I can come up with that would have contributed to why the leak has suddenly appeared.

no that would have nothing to do with the recall work
