Picked up my new to me 2015 F150 eco-boost FX4 lariat yesterday and noticed this morning when starting the vehicle collision warning not available message comes on the instrument cluster and you have to press OK to clear
I went through the Settings in the IC. The collision warning is turned on. Is there something else that I am missing or is there something wrong with the system ?
Is there something blocking the sensor in front? Wet or snowy roads will block the sensor and give you the warning. The manual will tell you some thing to check. Had this problem on my 2013 Edge, dealer fixed it (after 2 days) and said it was an alignment issue.
Ok figured something was wrong. Comes right on once the vehicle is started
Did you resolve this? On start-up, I always get the forward collision menu where you select on or off. (Not sure if that is the actual name of that menu/warning) Since you see your warning on start-up, I thought maybe my issue is similar or same. What is this? I cannot select either option, and I'm pretty sure my truck is not equipped with the hardware for PCA. Could this be a forscan error from the previous owner? (meaning, added in error)
