Default Collision Sensor Check

I got my truck from a used dealer and noticed the collision error saying it’s not active along with cruise control. I’ve read that the sensor may be dirty or need to be adjusted. Any tips on getting this front part off so I can access it without doing any damage?

Was advised the sensor is here

The front bumper trim panel is held in place by 14 clips which can be quite stubborn to remove.

Take a plastic trim remover and carefully pry the trim panel away from the bumper. Some of the clips will be stuck in the front bumper and will have to be reinstalled on the trim panel before reinstalling. Don't be surprised if some of the clips get damaged. The clips are sold separately in package qty of 4 - part # W714030-S424.

I have attached the CCM adjustment/alignment procedure which can be done with FORScan

my guess is it had a front end crash. I would take it back and make sure they fix it. suggest they take it to a ford dealer. I am sure they got it at auction and are too cheap to fix it.

Have you just cleaned the outside surface yet? I get it all the time when snowing, like today.
