Default Cold Air Intake

I am looking at adding a CAI to my 2017 3.5 Eco. I realize that there are no real gains from doing so, but I am looking to let it breath a little better and sound a little better as well. And if it gets a little better mpg, that would be a plus also. What are others running on their 3.5 Ecos?

I don't have an Eco-Boost but a 5.0, I went with the S&B CAI with Pro Dry Filter. I did it because it cleaned up the engine bay area & it looks pretty nice also. As far as HP gains, I probably got about 2-3 HP gain between 5K-6K RPM from it in reality. I do have a MagnaFlow 3" CAT back exhaust with 3" High Flow MBRP Resonator also. So I'm guessing between the intake & exhaust I gained real world 5-10 HP on the top end only.

Wasting your money. Your truck comes with a CAI stock. Look up previous threads on here.

Spend your money on something useful.

The OP asked 3.5 EB owners what aftermarket intake they are using. Not your opinion of after market intakes.

Our shop truck is an Ecoboost and we are running the oiled S&B Intake on there. Most of the guys here have the S&B on their trucks or Jeeps as well and love them!

If you are looking to 'really' clean up the engine bay include a Granatelli expansion tank with that CAI...can't stand that plastic stock unit!
