Default Coil Pack question

2018 F150 2.7 SCREW

I’m trying to find coil packs and having a heck of a time. The plugs are wrong.

I ordered a set on Amazon which didn’t fit because the fin inside the female plug was too far over. All of the ones online show the same plug.

the fin in mine is over the first pin. The fin in all of the ones I’ve seen are between the first and second pin.

I’ve checked American Trucks and other sources.

what’s going on?

Amazon coil pack with fin between first and second pin.

My coil pack

My plug

It looks really close to me from the pictures. Did you check rock auto?

The plugs definitely don’t fit the coil packs with the locating fin between 1 and 2.

Rock Auto pictures of the plugs are really bad and I haven’t gotten around to calling them. Getting someone to open a box and take photos might be even harder.

I would think near impossible honestly. What brand did you buy?
Also i admit, i misunderstood and thought the bottom picture was the Amazon coil. No wonder it looked really close lol. My bad. Amazon one is definitely further over smh

Here’s a better comparison.

the ones I bought on Amazon were a no name Chinese set for $70 that got good reviews.

I returned them, and just ordered new coil boots. I’m going to see if that solves the misfire issue. If not, I’ll probably just buy from a local auto parts store if they can get the right ones.
