Default Clipped a tree

I was backing a trailer up and didn't notice I got too wide and clipped a tree with my passenger side mirror.

It knocked the cap off, but that was easily snapped back on. Unfortunately it cracked part of the housing and I can't get that part to stay all the way back together. (It's sort of together for now, but it has some gaps.)

Anyone replaced a side mirror on these trucks? Easy? Any tips?

I think I found the right part online, but I will go by my dealer and make sure.

Super easy....open you door, remove the triangle door trim piece that will give you access to the nuts that hold the mirror bolted on, you will also notice a wire harness that attaches to the mirror.

Clipped mine as I was pulling out of the garage. Snapped the cap back on and thought all was well. Next trip through the car wash ripped it off. Bought a replacement from Tasca, easy removal and easy install. Only lasting damage was to my wallet...
