Climate Control System Calibration?
We have a 2016 Platinum SuperCrew. The calibration on the climate control system is off, it keeps the cab about 5 degrees colder than the digital indication on the climate screen. Is there somewhere in the truck's software that the calibration can be adjusted?
The reason I ask is that our Volvo XC70 can be. The tech hooks his terminal into the car's onboard computer, pulls up climate settings, where he can do a + or - to fine tune the temperature for a given setting. It would be nice to have the temp on the truck a little closer to the setting!
Thanks for any input.

Yeah, I was hoping the brain trust here would have seen something similar, or are there supertechs who monitor posts? I checked with my dealer tonight, the tech I talked to didn't have a clue. I got the sensation that he was thinking, "if you want 70 degrees, just set it for 75". After all, didn't we all used to use a temperature slider or **** from blue to red to adjust manually? Sorry, it's a new world, it would be nice if it worked precisely.
What I don't want to do is to have someone start ripping my dash apart to replace control components if it is easier than that!

I'll go out on a limb and say Ford will do nothing about it. You just should be happy you complaining that the air is to cold.
The 09-14 guys have been struggling with ****ty AC and with NO help from Ford. It's been determined that it's due to calibrations in the system and would take a simple recalibration and they refuse to do anything.
Infact, I brought mine in so many times to Ford because of the ****ty AC Fords engineers got involved. They said its normal and said that if I brought it back to Ford again due to the ****ty AC that I would have to pay for it myself but they will no longer cover AC warranty due to it not being cold enough.
I even proved to them with info from IDS and Fords own documentation that something is wrong but they refused to fix it because they claim anything colder than 20* difference from outside and cab temp is within spec.
For that reason alone when I bought my wife a new car in July I didn't even consider Ford. Said thing is that I bleed Ford Blue!

I went to the dealer today to talk about it. First item of business was getting the fake V8 noise turned off. They didn't believe it was in IDS even when I showed them the screenshot of it (that I grabbed from this forum). I have no confidence that even if there was some adjustment, like cranking a potentiometer or with software, that they would know anything about it or would take the time to fine it. Ugh.
They were too busy to IDS the fake noise, I am going to pull the plug pins.
