Default Clicking at low speed

Hi all! I just bought a 2016 V8 Supercab with about 54000 miles. I just noticed a noise seeming to come from the front end. It’s too quiet to hear with the windows up but with them down I hear a faint but noticeable clicking noise from what seems to be the front right wheel area. The click only happens at speeds less than 20mph and seems to get slightly louder when turning. The click also gets louder when I put it in 4x4. It also seems to go away when braking but not every time. I have checked the wheel and brakes for obstructions and looked for loose suspension parts and found none. What could it be?

Thanks in advance,

Scott

Likely a half-shaft CV joint going bad.

Merc52 is probably right. I had a GM that made clicking as you described that turned out to be wheel bearing.

Yup, boot probably ripped on the front axle and the joint got wet and wore out. Very typical noise you hear on FWD cars... clacking when turning as it puts stress on the CV joint.
