Default Clearance lights power source

I have a '16 F-150 Lariat. Today I did something I've wanted to do for a while. I put clearance lights on the cab. I would like to know it anyone can help me, and tell me it there is a power source that I can use that will only bring on the clearance lights with the parking lights. The lights are mounted to the truck and the wires are ran to y the passenger side A post. Now i just need a way to make them work.
Any help appreciated.

Run the wire down the fender to a relay that is powered off your parking light on the passenger side.

I'm sure there are fuses in the under hood fuse box that are powered only while the key is on but I like to use relays when I can so.......

OP wanted some help with wiring the relay. A simple 4pin relay should work. The relay can be mounted near the battery box and wired as such.

Pin 30 - fused power wire from battery
Pin 87 - power out to clearance lights
Pin 85 - ground
Pin 86 - power from the parking lights

Pins 85 and 86 can be swapped. That is either one can be power or ground. Those 2 pins are the relay control circuit. When the parking lights are turned on, it energizes the relay to allow power to flow to the clearance lights. Parking lights off, relay turns off, clearance lights die.

Pins 30 and 87 can also be swapped. Either one can be power going into the relay and power going out to the lights. The control circuit, when powered closes the contacts inside the relay allowing power to flow thru between pins 30 and 87.

Mount the relay so it's out of the way and won't get damaged or wet.

Easy peasy lemon squeeze and bobs your uncle and all that. Lol.

3-in-a-row lamps mounted in the center of the cab are called Front Identification Lamps. Thier purpose is to inform oncoming traffic that the approaching vehicle is wider than 80".

Front Clearance Lamps are mounted on the outer edge of the vehicle and their purpose is to indicate the actual width of the vehicle to oncoming traffic. See FMVSS 108.

The Ford Raptor cab is wider than 80" and therefore requires front ID and Clearance lamps. Adding 3-in-a-row lights to a vehicle that is under the 80" width may cause the vehicle to not pass a state safety inspection (just saying - please don't flame).

I didn't tap into anything. I was just giving info on how it could be done. Tap the parking lights at the parking lights plug/harness or nearby. There are places that sell some adapters that plug into the original plug if you don't want to damage any wiring by doing a tap.
