Default Cleaning exterior of windshield

I got my F150 a few weeks ago, trying to keep it clean but the biggest challenge is trying to clean the windshield. I am 6'2" with a decent wing span and I can't reach the centre of the windshield. Tried standing on the running boards, but there is like 6 inches on the centre of the windshield I can't reach. Any devices/tips you folks can recommend?

I use to work for O'Reilly's, and they sold a bug scratcher, with a squeege, on a telescopic pole that was about 30" long. Maybe that would help.

Car wash.

I have a step stool that I use for days when the car wash isn't practical.

If I am on the road, I'm screwed because I am not dragging the step stool with me.

Small 4 rung step ladder. I use it for pretty much anything above the sides.

I stand on the front tires! I'm 6'1", 175 lbs...

I've done it this way, on all 6 trucks I've owned! 3 Chevys, 1 Hummer, and 2 Fords!
