I am very OCD about my truck and sounds. I now have 2K on my 2017 5.0 and have no noise like that what so ever.

I need to bring it anyway for some issues they caused fixing water leaks. But I read about some people having their cats replaced for this noise. To me it sounds like it's in the exhaust.

Where was the water leak?

Can you update the chirp diagnosis? Mine sounds like the catalytic converter on the right side chirps. Thanks

I've got a 16 3.5L Ecoboost with the same problem.

My '16 F150 passenger side catalytic converter doesn't chirp as much now with 12,000 miles. Carbon build up I believe reduces the noisy internal catalytic converter rattle. Funny how my '18 Corvette which I bought brand new chirps exactly the same as the F150 especially on cold idle start up. I wouldn't be surprised if the same catalytic converter manufacture is building these for many different OEM car companys. It is very annoying but should get more quit as time goes by. Hit me up on my YouTube channel Ozzstar if you need any help. Thanks -Glen (Ozz)

My '16 XLT 5.0 has no chirping noises that i can tell.
Do you have a Cali exhaust system or something?
If it were my deal, i'd stethoscope to confirm where the chirp is really coming from.

If its indeed coming from the cat, could be loose clamps or some other metal to metal contact in that area causing the chirping due to engine vibration.
You might want to tap the cat lightly with a hammer to see if anything bounces around or vibrates in it.
I can't see how a cat could create noise unless it was defective or a bad design.

The noise is internal inside the exhaust tubing and is not related to any type of fastener or clamp. Like I mentioned at 12k miles now the chirp is much less noticeable than when the truck was new.

Mine has this exact same chirp going on. I took it to the dealer to address along with the transmission shift issues. It has been with them a week now, so I can update when I get it back. Any resolution on yours?

Here is mine:
