Checking Oil
I haven't seen anyone speak of this on the forum here, so I thought I would make my first post, be about this topic.
I am not the tallest guy, standing at 6', so I'm not sure if it's easier for taller guys, but I would have to assume that they do have an advantage. Does anyone else have trouble reaching the dipstick? Every truck I've ever checked oil in, and I check oil in a lot of vehicles as I work at a garage doing fleet repairs and sometimes customer repairs, if the other part of the garage gets busy. I've never checked oil on something that the dipstick is placed so far in and down inside of the engine bay. They really couldn't take the time to design a better dip stick system? I mean, it's not like they are doing it for free, we pay for the darn trucks.
That is one of two gripes about my truck. The other gripe is turning radius which I was very disappointed in, especially with how great a 550, and a 650 turning radius is. But thats another thread and I'm sure if I were to look theirs already one made.

I said the same thing the first time I opened the hood.. they probably saved $$$$$$ by just reusing the Mustang's dipstick & tube. They know the avg Joe doesn't even check their oil anymore and they don't give two ****s about their techs.
