Check Engine Light (P2450)
This is information for anyone who gets a P2450 check engine light. I had the code shortly after I bought the truck in July.
I borrowed a code reader at autozone to see what the code was and it was the P2450 code.
I called the dealer and they thought it could be the flap on the fuel fill not sealing all the way. I used the fill tool that comes with the truck to move the flap in and out and also wiped it off as best as I could. I cleared the code and drove it. The code came back. I went to the dealer and they flashed the PCM as they said there was newer code that addressed the issue. That didn't solve the problem so back to the dealer again.
They did some tests checking the wiring on the EVAP system on the tank and that checked out ok. They have more tests to run but they may need to drop the tank. I had just filled up yesterday so I had to drive for a while to get the fuel level lower and bring it back so they can do more tests. I brought it back in with the tank less full. They dropped the tank and did tests and concluded it was the evaporative switching valve and they had to order it. A month later the part was in and I brought it back in. They dropped the tank again yesterday and replaced the EVAP valve on the tank.
It's working fine now and hopefully this is the final fix. I wanted to post this in case anyone else runs into this code.

So your truck is a 2018? Mileage? Build date? Maybe just a random failure, but good to know in case my 2018 also gets one. But not happy that driveshaft would have to come off too; hope truck never gives me any trouble. So far so good in 4,400 miles

I believe the build date is November 2017.
They didn't mention taking out the driveshaft but who knows. I just hope it's fixed for good.
Your truck seems to be an early build, since Ford made 2018s until October, if I remember correctly. Mine is June 2018, and bought it June 26, so basically we bought them at the same time. I thought I had very low mileage at 4,400 now, but you easily beat me. Ha ha. And yes, read the TSB on 2.7s, and the driveshaft has to come out to drop the tank, unfortunately. Hopefully no new vibrations or any other crap from a botched job. Good luck.
