Thanks to all for the input. Light has been off since yesterday, when I replaced the air filter. As one of you said, time will tell if that was the issue.

Getting the whole story from you is like pulling teeth. "My check engine light is on does anyone know why?" That is the extent of the information you give. Then, you add that it is a 2018, if that matters and you changed the air filter for the 1st time ever but fail to find out if there is a DTC.
If you want solutions, you have to provide information/details. You seem incredibly unaware of the importance in providing background information and DTC information even after you are specifically asked for it. THAT is what "epic" meant.

We still don't know how many miles your vehicle went before its first (?) engine air filter change, nor what the code was. You learned very little, and the rest of us learned nothing from this exchange.
