Default Check engine light

Check engine light came on. 2020 5.0 14,000 miles. Had this message in Ford pass

Brought it to the dealer today at 7:00 am, as of 5:30 they couldn't figure out why the light was on. Wondering if anyone else has had this same problem.

They should be able to scan for stored codes that possibly kicked the light on? Does it run fine with the check engine light on?

You need to have the specific DTCs read to determine why your MIL lamp is ON. From Ford pass message, the DTCs could be a lot of things. (appears to be fuel rich or lean but need to have codes read)

The engine control system has reached its adaptive control limit.
This is the description for the Long Term Fuel Tables codes P0171/174 or P0172/175. Look up the codes.
When these tables move about +/- 25%, the code is set for one or both banks as the code fault describes.
25% shift is the adaptive limit being displayed.
The cause for the shift has to be found causing either too Rich or too Lean fuel condition.
A Scanner will display the code set.
Good luck.
