Default Changes from inaugural 2015 to present

So, I’ve been off the forum for awhile and haven’t kept up with the changes too much. Just ordered a 2018 Lariat 502A. Here’s my observations as they apply to me:

3.5 Ecoboost now has start/stop technology
10 Speed transmission
Sync 3
Pro back up trailer assist
New grill design
Embossed tailgate
20” PVD wheels have a different look.

Am I missing anything?

I have no experience with the first 4 items. From an appearance standpoint, I like the new front end. I can take or leave the embossed tailgate. I think I like the PVD wheel on my 2015 better, but the new ones are growing on me.

I'm not saying this is an extensive list, but it's a completely different 3.5 eco then what's in your 2015.

  • Rear suspension has been revised for better ride/handling
  • Strengthened rear frame section
  • Interior ambient lighting is now one color only (ice blue’ish).

I noticed on a video the new Navigator's interior ambient lighting on the doors turn from ice blue to bright red when the door is opened. Works like the older door courtesy lights to show an open door to traffic at night. Very cool. Does the 2018 F-150 do the same thing.

Different shaped head lights. Tail light lights are arranged differently.

Bose instead on Sony

Yes B&O but not the good stuff, just the low end B&O Play, not even worth it over the Sony
