I've got a '17 with the 3.5L EB.. I've currently got just under 70k and had this on my list of stuff to tackle for about 20k miles.. lol. I've got a brand-new set of SP534's from my 2013 that I bought as spares but that truck got totaled not long after and I've had these since .. it seems like they'll work fine and no out of pocket at the moment. I've just got to scare up my anti-sieze and die-electric grease for the boots. I destroyed a few coils on my '13 when I did the one plug change on it in my 4 months of ownership -- I guess the PO didn't use any grease on the boots..

Brother changed plugs on his '13 3.5l just over 60k because a few were already fouled.

ok.. so I tried to change my plugs on my '17 but can't figure out how to remove the top shroud.. the service manual identifies the 4 things holding the cover on as shown below.

but what I found on the rear part close to the firewall were these green/yellow rubber pieces.. I've got no idea how they're supposed to come off without destroying them -- I even used some pliers to stretch them but ??? Thoughts?
