Yeah, so far I'm happy with the results, but tbh it's a lot of prep work. Rinse, wash, dry, clay bar, polish w/ DA buffer, spray and wipe with IPA, coat *wait 45min* coat *wait 45min* finish with reload. Also, conditions have to be right if you don't have a large enough garage, don't apply if it's in direct sun or too hot, etc. etc. So really, it might be worth it to have somone else do it like you had done. Also when the car is new or the paint is at its best is the perfect time to have it done, then just wash and use reload every 1-3months, probably will last up to two years before you need another ceramic coat or any clay bar action.
I also don’t have a garage to do all that prep and August in Florida is brutal. And it’s a must to have a closed space to apply the ceramic. Saved my quarters knowing I was going to do this and it’s well worth it for me, especially like I said, to get a good start on my new truck.

If you want the best look, you HAVE to do all the prep work. If doing that much work, why not go the extra step and coat it? I spent more time doing Zaino treatments than I spent doing the Ceramic coat. I'm on year #3 and it still looks as good as day 1. It surpassed expectations. Zaino process was a 2 day affair to do it properly. It was also a lot more to maintain, and lasted maybe a year, the Ceramic is pretty much maintenance free. Wash and wipe down with reload, or dry wash with E2HO mixed with reload, done in one step. Surface is still slick after 2 years, no complaints and no regret. My only regret is I couldn't do a better job putting the paint protection film on the bumper. It was a PITA to put on and my first time too, but so far no paint chips, no rust, after 49K miles.

never thought about mixing ECHO and Reload.
Always did it separately. 👍
