I have noticed that I have a 'clicking''rattle' noise when I hit a bump or turn the steering wheel fast and it seems like it is coming from the center stack above the screen.

I'm in Louisiana and it is definitely more noticeable in the high heat afternoons. Yesterday it was cloudy and only about 79 and didnt hear the rattle but a couple times.

Anyone else experiencing this? I guess the heat is making the plastic expand and causing to make noise. TIA

 

I know you said center stack, but do you have a pair of sunglasses in the overhead? I've had that rattle sound like it was from the center stack before. Just an thought.

 

no glasses up there. I can press down on the plastic above the screen and it wont rattle. as soon as i let go it starts up again. idk how the dealership would fix this??

 

Rip it apart and add felt tape to all the seams. I've had multiple rattles throughout my 2017 Lariat that i have had to remedy myself with this method.

 

Mine had a similar rattle after adding HDC. I had to pull the speaker grate from the dash-top center speaker & tighten the 2 bolts there. Rattle went away after that.
