I recently purchased a 2015 F150. Being tall, I need the seat back some. I don't like that center console down. It hits the back of my arm.

My question is, how much of a bitch is it to take that thing out.

Anyone done that?

I looked at it some, but not yet focused like a laser beam.

 

Which center console are you referring to? There are several, depending on your trim level and options. A picture would help identify it.

 

Fold down seat? 4 bolts.

Full center console? 6 bolts.

15-20 minutes for either, seats don't need to come out.

 

Sorry, I should have been more clear. It's a fold down seat. If I'm going to see a bunch of unsightly metal brackets when the console is removed, I'll just persevere with leaving the console in.
