I have 2018 Limited.

I do hear a pop on rare occasion which seems to be coming from the radio area. I was just assuming it was the cheap plastic parts popping/moving from the vicious Florida heat.

You mean like plastic cracking? Then YES. I thought I was going crazy... it randomly does this in my 2016 XLT. I have not been able to figure out EXACTLY where the noise comes from or what is causing it. So apparently it isn’t just me.

I believe it comes from the sides of the plastic peice that is just above the storage compartment that is infront of the cuper holders. I shoved some small rubber thin rubber on either side that seems to of done the trick. Also, i should add ive been in a alot of f150’s and they do not all do this, i think it is less common than not.

Happens when I have my heat on, then turn it off, like plastic is expanding/contracting.
