Default ccw location

Where are you keeping your ccw located in the f-150 that is quickly accessible but not out in the open.

If its in the truck so am i, and its sitting in the cup holder ready to go. When i get out it goes concealed on my person. Never leave a weapon in a car.

Ok.... where do you keep your truck gun. I keep a handgun in each vehicle we have so that there is always one within easy reach.

My wife carries in her purse, and i also carry iwb.

I have a Texas Custom Holster car holster just above my right knee for my G30S or G29. When I leave the truck , the pistol goes in an IWB holster with me.

I should also point out that i live in a secluded rural area where my stuff is parked. If you come up on my place you are coming to see us, or you are lost.

I haven't found a good place just yet, for mine.

I toyed with the location on the right side of my console, there is a little channel there that the M&P or J Frame sits nicely. However, it could use a little help, maybe I can fix a Remora Holster there to keep it angled the way I would like.

It just comes with me when I leave the vehicle anyway.

There was a holster I almost got once, where its fixed on the seat, sits forward of the seat and easy to reach between your legs for access. Easy to grab and holster when getting in and out of the truck.

Why conceal it? I keep mine in the door panel. One good thing about Louisiana is that a CCW isn't needed to conceal it in your vehicle. The vehicle is considered a extension of your home.

If you have a console, the compartment in front of the shifter, but i really like the belly band holster.

Not trying to conceal it, but do nor want it laying out in the open either.

I have my permit and so does wife, so we arent worried either way.
