how do I turn off cargo light with doors open?

 

Bed cargo lights or do you mean interior dome light? I know there's an over ride switch to kill the interior dome lights if you open the doors. However I think the cargo lights up on the third brake light (and the auxiliary ones if equipped) always come on.

Sorry I meant third brake light.

 

They wont turn off as long as the doors are open. It'll get turned off by the BCM after some time I think but they will be lit for a good long while as long as the doors are open. I wish they had built in a press/hold function into the switch to turn off the lights when the doors need to be open for a while.
