What is it? How can I enable it?
Couldn't do a search on the subject from my iPhone.

basically it allows for you to run some apps from the phone on the sync screen.
The sync3 doesn't have carplay yet, there will be a software upgrade sometime this year that will enable it. So for now, just chill.

What the hell they said on Jan 4 they would release it and still no date and it's almost April...

Having used CarPlay in a 2016 Silverado, I'm a big fan and can't wait for CarPlay in our truck! Anticipation is the worst.

 

Any idea what the cost will be?

 

It's free, but your infotainment system must support it.

 

Ford's website said it will be "available," so I was worried that might mean "at a cost." But I hope I'm wrong! Hopefully it will just download immediately via wireless once it becomes available.

And yes, my Sync3 should support it.
