Can you run Heet gas line antifreeze in Ecoboost?
Sorry if this has been asked before, I tried a search but could not find the answer. I have never had anything but naturally aspirated engines my whole life and always ran Heet or a variant of a gas line antifreeze in my tanks during the winter. Is it OK to run gas line antifreeze (Heet) in the tanks of the Ecoboost engines (2.7L), or will this have a negative impact on the turbos?
My second question is the use of Seafoam. I have always run 1.5 ounces per quart of oil in the crankcase about 1k before a oil change, and a can in the tank every 5k to help keep everything clean. Is anyone else doing this or something similar to clean deposits throughout the crankcase.
Many thanks, WB.

There really would not be a reason to run HEET unless you only purchased non ethanol gas. HEET isnt a gas line antifreeze, it will help absorb water(up to a point) in your gas then allow it to be used by the motor. The alcohol in ethanol does the same thing.
Can't help you with Sea Foam. I never used it.

If you go by the manual then you will not add any additives. None.
