Can SYNC Connect be 'added'?

My truck has SYNC 3, can the SYNC Connect be added?

This will be interesting, I wonder how involved it will be to install. Mine is missing Sync Connect as well. Not a big deal to me, but might be a nice feature to have. The only issue is I think you get a free 5 years of use when it comes with the vehicle, I wonder if you buy it aftermarket they will charge you for the service right away...

I bet they will. I think it's $50 a year. I work downtown and park in a parking garage so starting it during our winters will be great if I can add Connect.

According to the info that Ford posted, it`ll be a simple install which only involves plugging the adaptor into the OBD port under the dash.
