Besides the hitch and wiring plug, mine also has a 36 gl tank (which I love!). But no mention of any of those tow packages on the window sticker.
Also has the backup cam listed as a seperate line item, love the backup cam too!

Please look at the chart I posted. The transmission aux cooler only comes with trailer tow packages 53A or 53C. Not 53B, which sounds like what he might have.

Ford uses alot of strange wording for things. Ive read once that it stated one truck had a upgraded tranny cooler when it has identical part numbers to the standard cooler. I just for the life of me cant think of what year and model F150 it was.

It is my understanding that all 2.7's have an auxiliary tranny cooler whether they have the tow package or not.
Mine does not have the tow package...it doesnt even have a tow hitch, but it has the auxiliary tranny cooler in front of the radiator. I had an aftermarket tow hitch installed.

Is there an easy way to identify which group you have? I know I have either a 53A or B because I have 4/7 pin adapter and reciever, but dont have the TBC. All im really lookign for is the tranny cooler. Anyone know what it looks like or where it is?

It should also say on your window sticker under optional equipment
53B = receiver hitch and wiring harness only.
53A = trailer tow pkg (includes 53B)
53C = max trailer tow pkg (includes 53A)
