35/12.50/20 will rub on the crash bar. Buddy has a 2016 fx4 w/6" lift and 35/12.50/20 MT's and had to cut the crash bar.

I'm sure he also has a negative offset rim. OP is using stock rims.

Even with a stock rim a 12.5" width is going to be very tight if it clears at all.

Well mine clears no problem, along with a ton of people I have seen with just a 2.5-3" leveling kit

Yeah with a level that big you should be good. Ford doesn't recommend going over 2" for a level without affecting factory ride.

35x12x17. 2"level.
No trimming and only rubbed once when I hit a hard bump while turning.
