Default Cam sensor code

2015 ford f150 5.0

I have codes P0340:00-EC (cam position sensor A circuit (bank 1 or single sensor) and P0344:00-EC (cam pos sensor A circuit intermittent (bank 1 or single sensor). Both intermittent at time of request.

Should I look at the sensor itself or is it more likely to be a wiring issue?

I think the truck was in a flood before I owned it and I've had a lot of electrical/ wiring issues. I haven't looked at anything or done any diagnostics yet. Hopefully I'll have time this weekend.

Any insight is appreciated. A wiring diagram and sensor location would be helpful.

Open circuit.
Plug-up or wiring.
Can't send Intake Cam, bank 1, signal to PCM.
