Default Cam Phaser problems AGAIN!!!

Hey sorry if this has been covered, please link a thread if so

I have a 2018 3.5 eco SCREW and at around 55,000 Km I had the Cam phasers fixed as it seems to be the norm. This past weekend I started hearing the deaded cold start up rattle. It been around 2 years and 50,000 km since the initial repair. Currently I have 104,000 km. Called my dealership and they told me its out of pocket and there's no warranty on warranty work past 3 months. They said to call ford canada customer service and see if they will cover it. At this point if I'm goiong to be going through this every couple of years why bother. Any thought or suggestions would. Im about to go to my nearest GMC dealership and make a trade

Yup...you're not alone!!

I traded my 3.5 eco in on a 5.0 V8 and never looked back!
I'd never buy another ecoboost.

Or...that new GMC Sierra sure is looking good! Inside and out!!

But trade it on something...that problem is not going away.

Call FORD and tell the same thing you just posted. Let them know you're going trade it in if they aren't going stand by their product with a recurring issue that they have known about since 2019.

I'm surprised there isn't a class action on these Cam Phaser. I can understand if they were replaced and it was fixed, but I'm seeing more and more 2nd timers posting. Mine have been replaced twice.

This whole phaser thing seems to be a sh$t show. My engine makes more noise than what I can describe and now the IWE grind on top. I really like the F150 features, looks inside and out, but man the reliability on my truck has been really really poor.
