Default Caltracs vs RAS

Has anyone had experience with either or both? I've read through the forums and a few mentions of the caltracs but not a lot of feedback from users.

I've used the Caltracs on a previous GM truck. They worked well for wheel hop and helped with traction in the early stages of the build. I plan on running Stiffler's long bars on my current F150. They have excellent reviews for traction and wheel hop. Their 15+ bars should be out now.

I feel a long bar system is superior but everyone has their own opinions. The bad part about the long bars is where they'll mount on our frames the bracket will hang down past the frame a few inches. That may be a problem on lowered trucks.

There's a couple threads on RAS. I just installed them on my Platinum 4x4 and feel the ride is more controlled.

What's your main reason for adding these to your truck?

I installed the RAS on my truck for the main reason of towing a travel trailer.
Which it works quite well for. It also does seem to have a more controlled ride, eliminated wheel hop on pavement, added 3/4" height to the rear of my truck and significantly reduced body roll.
