So a person who takes it in on the end of a Friday when the dealership says they cannot work on it till Monday because Saturday is for oil changes only and they are closed on Sunday gets 4 days because they got it back on Monday?

Now THIS is good info.

What might new owners expect if they start down a road of repairs.

The loss of use of the truck, in totality, since you've owned it.
But this poll doesn't answer that question, "starting down a road of repairs." Somebody may have had their truck in the shop for 20 days, to replace an entire engine or some such extreme repair, while I'm just taking mine in to get, say, a non-functioning folding mirror fixed. Without knowing *what* people took them in for, the data is useless to me.

I get your point that the poll operates on the predicate that if you're answering, you have taken your truck in for at least one warranty repair but that's not clear in the question.

You can look at the number of users on this forum and EASILY tell that only a small number are voting on this. I didn't think I needed to actually THINK for you all with regards to this poll. If you don't want to participate, then don't, but the assumption everyone is making here about this showing EVERYONE has a problem is so incredibly wrong.

Whether or not you need to THINK for everyone is irrelevant. The point the majority is trying to make is the poll is flawed by not providing the option of 0 whether it's the majority/minority of the ownership community. I'm not trying to be confrontational nor argumentative but this poll implies everyone is taking their new trucks to the shop for repairs.

The poll shows the number of votes.

If you believe this low number will make everyone think this is the majority of the forum members then that is your interpretation.

The poll was set up to collect data on forum members with problems, NOT as you wish, which is all forum members.

The poll is not flawed. It is designed for a specific purpose.

The "majority" you refer too are the forum members that have no problems that want to be able to show that in this poll. The same "majority" that is not a part of this poll.

Ok, well said. I will gracefully bow out because you make a good point.
